We are HOME. It was just a week ago today that we are devastated by the news of Eden's diagnosis and tonight she is sleeping in her big girl bed (by herself). It is all very surreal to me and very hard to comprehend. Eden is doing great and she seems happy to be home. However less than a mile from the hospital she was requesting a visit to "Laur Laur" house (Lauren).
I am looking forward to tomorrow . . . a full day with my girl before we have to go back in for treatment on Friday.

Oh, Hooray!! The boys asked as soon as they came home from school today if Eden was home. I can't wait to tell them when they get up in the morning. We think of all of you constantly (even while we sat in Hilton tonight, we talked about Eden.) You are a part of so many prayers from our house alone. Enjoy your day, and your alone time with her tomorrow. Thanks so much for updating this site. We look forward to the updates. Give her 5 big kisses in the morning...one from each of us!

ReplyDeleteI am praying everyday for Eden. These are the first pictures I have seen of her and tears are running down my face. She is so beautiful and I know she will conquer this. I pray for your strength and hers during the battle. I so wish she didn't have to endure something like this so young. I am so amazed at how you selflessly ask for prayer for your doctor's time with their families. Thanks for the updates. -Jessica Strand

Thank you Lord for blessings recieved! God will continue to be with all of you. We don't have to worry about tomorrow because He is already there.:) To anyone reading this blog, would you please pray for Jenna Waters also? She is the 4 year old twin daughter of Jared and Christina Waters who recently had surgery to remove a mass in her abdomen that was found at her yearly check up. We lift up these two beautiful little girls and their families, and pray for God's continued blessings upon them all.

As I read, I am sure that I do not not fully understand your suffering, but tears come to my eyes. Your faith is as evident as your pain. Living in such opposites is a great challenge.
