Best Day Yet

This has been absolutely the best day since we began treatment. Eden has kept me laughing all day . . . regardless of the fact that she only had a 35 minute nap. I think this day was a revitalization for me. I will now admit that last week, although it went well, was somewhat depressing. Last week Eden had little-to-no energy and spent the majority of her time on the couch or sitting in the kitchen. I thought it was her chemo; but, her Drs over the weekend indicated it was the RSV. On that note, the steroids she is on will actually increase her energy. I am guessing I may regret my feelings about last week later. While Eden may not be running around, she is quite the conversationalist. There is rarely a quiet moment in the house. Hummmmm, maybe that is where all the energy is going . . .

Love you all

  2. I am so glad to hear that you are all having a much better experience with the steroids than we did! Pierce was the opposite, but he's finally back to his normal running-around-everywhere self. It is amazing how much your day brightens when your little one makes you smile and acts normal! We continue to pray for all of you, and especially for Eden on her clinic days. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you!

  3. So glad to hear things are back to normal for little Eden...it does give one renewed hope when things brighten up. We continue our prayers for Eden, and for mom and dad. May God lighten your load as he gives you strength each new day. With God, all things are possible. Prayers and love and hugs, Aunt Mary and Uncle Heinz

  4. We check on you guys everyday! So glad to hear Eden is feeling more like herself. Thank you so much for the updates. We are praying for all of you! We were at Fareway last night and thought of Eden as we passed the avocados! If you ever need us to run to the store for you so you don't have to shower and change clothes afterward we would be happy to make a delivery for you and leave them on the step :).

    Love,
    Chad, Joan, Lindsay and Allison

  6. So glad to learn that Eden is home again and showing some of her usual spirit. You have all been in our thoughts and prayers. I did have to chuckle when I read about Kurt needing a flu shot. I think I remember offering him one back in October??:) We're here to help in any way we can.
    Love, Lynette
