Avocados

As we prepared for our current trip back to the hospital, we thought two avocados would surely be sufficient for Eden's latest snack craving. Boy, were we wrong. We discovered that one of the avocados we brought wasn't ripe and so we found ourselves dependent on food service. Well, they have plenty of guacamole; but, no avocados. So a trip to the grocery later, we have one happy, sleepy toddler.

As we had guessed, they did put Eden in an isolated room because of her RSV. She has been tired from the virus so it isn't bad that she cannot leave her room. Tonight she ran a slightly elevated temperature and the rules indicate that a fever = hospital stay. We are praying that the mild teperature increase was the result of cuddling Daddy, and not due to the virus.

As you pray, please include that her little body can remain "fever-free".

  2. That RSV is a booger! I'm sorry that you have to deal with that along with everything else. We are sending our prayers from sunny, although quite cool, Florida! A lady in the gift shop asked me about my bracelet, and I was more then happy to tell her all about you. We'll keep checking in with you and hope that you'll be home again, soon.

    All our Love,
    Keith and Heidi

  3. Sorry to hear that Eden has to stay in the hospital, but this will surely get her back home quickly, and may the "bugs" disappear quickly also. We held Eden and her mommy and daddy up in prayer today at church. She is one little angel who is loved by many, so many she doesn't even know. We continue each day to pray for the 3 of you, knowing God is sending His love and strength to see you through the days ahead. Love and hugs, Aunt Mary and Uncle Heinz

  4. Hi Selena, Kurt, and Eden,
So sorry to hear that Eden had to go back to the hospital. We will be praying for a short stay. God is taking care of you so he must have some reason for being back there. I think of you many times a day and say a prayer every time. Take care and give Eden hugs and kisses.

  7. Hey Edan we know your daddy very well, he played football at Iowa State with our son, Preston. We just found out that you have been spending some time getting better at the hospital. Just wanted you to know that we love seeing the adorable pictures of you. We are praying for a speedy recovery. Keep eating all those crazy foods to help you get healthy FAST!
Tell mommy and daddy that to us you sound like a real trooper. Mommy and Daddy are the Perfect Parents. We do have to laugh thinking of Kurt in a crib. We are very happy to hear they haven't taken the "CY" out of you. You have so many people praying already, now you have added more as our entire family (which is huge) is sending messages to God to protect you and get you on the mend. Tell Mommy and Daddy that Judy and Larry Rhamy said "HI" all of you are in out thoughts and prayers. We will keep checking the web site. God Bless your family, Go Cyclones, Judy and Larry Rhamy
